The man on my painting is enjoying a painting by Piet Mondrian, the pioneering Dutch master whose iconic work represents a search for universal harmony and a spiritual cosmic order through pure geometric abstraction.
Mondrian’s reduction of form to essential vertical and horizontal lines represents a quest to uncover the ultimate, hidden reality of nature. In capturing a viewer standing before this strict abstraction, I reintroduce the human element into the composition, completing the narrative journey from pure idea back to living reality.
