This is number 9 in my new series of paintings of views through illuminated windows at night. It explores the tension between the private sphere and public observation, inviting viewers to imagine the hidden stories behind the lit windows. The window frame/grid is an exact copy of a painting by Mondrian, hence the subtitle Mondrian Window.
