In The Blue Robe, I continue my ongoing investigation into the psychology of looking. A key entry in my celebrated museum series, this vertical composition captures a solitary man deeply absorbed in front of a modernist masterwork by the American artist Will Barnet.

For me, The Blue Robe serves as both a profound mirror of contemporary museum culture and a heartfelt testament to how great art continues to inspire human empathy, connection, and deep introspection.

I created this work in 2026 using acrylic on panel. I have signed it on both the front and back, and it comes complete with my official artist label and a Certificate of Authenticity.
